Nicole carried a child for her sister, so they didn’t have to go through being matched or finding each other. However Nicole is a cancer survivor, so had to wait five years to be in complete remission  before she could offer to carry. Nicole’s sister was able to use her own eggs and she and her partner made 3 embryos. The first transfer worked, leading to the birth of Sapphire in October 2019.  Nicole lives in Mollymook Beach, NSW and her sister and husband are in Sydney. Their team worked with IVF Australia.
