Rachel & her husband Mark underwent many years of failed IVF before Rachel was diagnosed wit endometriosis and immune system issues which were making pregnancy impossible. After one final egg retrieval and embryo creation, their WA doctor gave up, but they refused to. They insisted on taking their embryos ‘for further treatment,’ shipping them to Tbilisi, Georgia. At this time Mark was 48, Rachel 44. When Jayden was born in October 2017, from a batch of embryos their own doctor had written off, it was testament to the determination and hope that binds this family together. Mark will discuss their experience of Georgian surrogacy
