Andrew and his partner are a same-sex couple form Victoria who welcomed their son via surrogacy in November 2019. They started planning their journey over three years prior and they met their surrogate who lives in Western Australia in late 2016. They experienced many ups and downs including some setbacks due to the logistics of an interstate arrangement and the bureaucracy of Victorian laws. Andrew will shed some light on  domestic surrogacy arrangements including meeting a surrogate and navigating intricate state-specific laws and how they can impact on an interstate arrangement.
