Amey has 3 children of her own (19, 9 and 8) and a very patient husband. She met her Sydney-based IPs – a gay couple – through an Australian Facebook group in February 2016. Working with an egg donor they created and froze just one embryo. Their first transfer worked and Amey gave birth on 30 June 2017 in Canberra. Amey will discuss what motivated her to carry and her experience of this extraordinary journey.
